An inverter is an electronic device that converts a low-voltage battery voltage of 10-15V to an AC current of 220 - 230V. The device is especially useful if there is no shore current available. Inverters are used to provide power flow to computers, coffee machines and many other household appliances. The automatic shutdown system protects against overload and overheating. It is a "smart device" that does not allow the battery to drain excessively. The device is fitted with a cigarette lighter socket. Available in 150W, 300W, 500W, 1000W models.
