Use of a keel cooler provides excellent heat exchange between the seawater and the refrigerant to obtain maximum performance from a system. Available with quick couplings and for Vdc refrigerators and cooling units only.
The elimination of electro-mechanical components (seawater pump, condenser fan) provides lower power consumption and maintenance costs.
The hydrodynamic shape and low profile reduces friction, while underway, and prohibits fouling by loose objects in the water. The specific shape and the external installation on the hull provides continuous contact between the seawater and the surface area of the exchanger, providing optimal performance of the cooling unit – even in tropical waters.
